Gymnastics Competition - Infants Team - to see the photos click here
Pictures of the infants team on their way to winning the key stage 1 gymnastics competition on Wendesday 9th May. They performed really well. They will now be going on to represent West Norfolk in the county competition at the Norfolk School Games in June.

We followed this by making our own versions of the Mad Hatter's watch.

We celebrated world book day by dressing up as a character from a book and having a whole school reading café.
There were a variety of characters from Wally to Harry Potter and from Cinderella to Snow White.

Canaries class won the attendance prize for the half term and were rewarded with a trip to Pizza Express. The children tried different pizza toppings, including capers and olives, and then got to make their own pizza for lunch! A really enjoyable morning!

Today the children took part in a London Olympics 2012 FLAMES event with some of the students from The College of West Anglia. The children really enjoyed carrying out the different tasks and listened well to their student helpers.

Steam Engine Visits Eastgate - to see the photos click here
On Wednesday 16th November we were visited by a steam engine to find out how they worked. We were lucky enough to see it operating and see how the early steam engines would have worked.

We arrived st the hostel, went to our dormotries, had tea and went for a walk to the lake. It was very windy. On the way back we saw bats and sheep.
