Norfolk Schools Gymnastics Competition 2011 -

We took Infants and Year 3/4 teams to the county finals at Norwich and both teams did fantastically well. We also took a year 5/6 display team who choreographed their own routines to display at the county finals.

Red Nose day 2011 -

On red nose day we raised money by dressing up as monstors or pirates.

Years 5 & 6 Australia Day Assembly -

Year 5/6 children presented their Australian topic work to parents on Tuesday 9th November. They created Corrobores dances, sang Waltzing Matilda, played didgeridoo’s and performed some traditional Dreamtime stories. During the day, the children made ANZAC biscuits and served them to parents.

Broadland Housing Naming of new development -

Representatives from Broadland Housing Association visited pupils at Eastgate Primary School to reward pupils who were winners of two competitions linked to Broadland's neighbouring development on Littleport Street. The children were asked to suggest names for the new development as well as design a poster raising awareness for health & safety on building sites. The winning development name was Boudicca Court.

Tour of Britain -

On 16th September Year 6 children went to see and ride during the East of England leg of the Tour of Britain.

Year 2 Trip to London -

Year 2 visited London as part of their work studying the Great Fire of London. They went on the LOndon Eye and on a river cruise to see the sights of London.
