On Saturday 13th June 'The Knights of Skirbeck', were at our Medieval Fayre. A great time was had by all and we hope to repeat the event next year.

Year 3/4 Gymnastics County Finals -

On Thursday 21st June year 3/4 gymnasts went to Norwich to take part in the county finals. The team came 2nd ... an excellent result.

Red Nose Day 2009 -

On Red Nose Day we dressed up as characters from stage and screen. Characters ranged from Batman to Aladdin via many characters from High School Musical.

World Book Day 2009 -

On World Book Day the staff chose books to read to the children, who chose which book they wanted to hear and went to that member of staff.

3/4 Netball Festival -

On February 10th 2009, children form year 3/4 took part in a netball festival at Lynnsport. They played against teams from all over West Norfolk.

Football in The Community -

Children in Need 2008 -

On November 14th 2008 we held a 'grass skirts and loud shirts' day to raise money for Children in Need.

Football Tournament (8th Nov) -

On Saturday 8th November 2008 the children took part in a football tournament. They were semi-finalists after putting in one of the best performances by an Eastgate team in recent years.

October Disco 2008 -

On Friday 24th October we held a fancy dress disco to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Football vs Grimston -

'Dow Trophy' Science Challenge 2008 -

On Wednesday 15th October Eastgate children represented the school in the Primary Schools' Science Challenge held at Park High School.

Skipping Workshop -

On 2nd October a group of year 6 children took part in a skipping workshop in the afternoon then children ranging from year 1 to year 6 (and some of their parents) took part in an after school skipping club.

Year 6 Kingswood Trip 2008 -

The year 6 children spent a fun weekend at Kingswood residential centre from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September. They took part in many varied activities ranging from rock pooling on the beach to zip wire, fencing to go-carting.
