Thursday 15 Sept, 8.45 am
Thursday, September 15th, 2011
A beautiful day, no wind and bright sunshine. Eastgate's got talent was brilliant and the children had great fun. Mr Howard made them all laugh with his story telling: he made Daniel and Mr Pemberton act it out. They are off to the Ravenglass/Eskdale railway for a ride on the steam train and a walk to see a waterfall.

They should arrive back at school around 6 pm on Friday as the journey took longer than we thought on the way up.

All fine and had a good night's sleep. Off to Whitehaven Rum Story today. Had rain until 9 am but now dry. Had a fun quiz last night and Fiona's team lost - don't know which team won though!

Update - Tues 13th September at 1:30pm
Tuesday, September 13th, 2011
Mrs Hothersall has just rung and relayed that the children have just conquered Dent Fell, almost made it to the top and managed to climb to over 1150 feet. Quite an achievement for them all. They are now on there way down and are then heading to St Bees for icecreams. The weather there is fine, dry and sunny.
