The school staff and governors of Eastgate Primary recognise that:
BULLYING IN ANY FORM IS UNACCEPTABLE. Please note the discipline
procedure.
As stated in the Rules of Conduct posted in each classroom “Equal respect for everyone must be observed”.
The staff of the school seek at all times through discussion and
learning opportunities (both incidental and planned) to encourage
children to have consideration for others in their daily lives.
Any single incident (verbal or physical) brought to the attention of
the staff or observed by the same will be dealt with as an infringement
of the school behaviour policy.
Any repetition of the same will be dealt with firmly as potential
bullying and parental involvement will be sought at the earliest
opportunity.
The governors and staff of the school rely on parents/guardians and
carers of the pupils to fully support the endeavours of the school in
upholding the behaviour policy of Eastgate Primary and that
parents/guardians and carers will encourage their children to abide by
the schools behaviour policy. Parents who have any concerns with regard
to this area will find that the Head and teachers are open to
discussion in order to take appropriate action.
